Jane Blunden

Jane Blunden is a traveller, writer and freelance journalist. Born in Malta and brought up in Kilkenny, she lives with her partner Robin Kindersley between her family home in Ireland and in the Cotswolds in England. She furthered her knowledge of Mongolia in the 1980s under the late Professor Owen Lattimore, the foremost western Mongolian scholar of the 20th century. Jane’s passion and long-term interest in Mongolia has led to her promoting the country wherever she can – first and foremost through her guidebook, but also through reports in the media, through lectures and through advising individuals and tour companies.
