s a Reader in Discourse and Social Transformation at the School of Law, Social Sciences and Communication, University of Wolverhampton, UK. She has researched and published widely on ethnographic and discursive aspects of lived experiences of post-communism and social change – including in urban spaces – as well as on the post-EU-enlargement Polish migration. She is currently also working on a project on ‘return migration’ as well as on a monograph about discourses of migration in the internet discussion fora. Her recent major publications include Discourse and Transformation in Central and Eastern Europe (with Michał Krzyżanowski, Palgrave Macmillan, 2008) and The Post-communist Condition. Public and Private Discourses of Transformation (with Dariusz Galasiński, John Benjamins, 2010).
