Instant Notes in Human Physiology covers the major physiological systems and their integration, providing an overview of human physiology without overloading the reader with information. It approaches the study of human physiology from the view that our purpose, in common with all other species, is to reproduce. To that end, fundamental pyhsiological concepts are described first, followed by non-reproductive functions that allow us to move around in our envirnments and live long enough to find a mate: circulation, respiration, locomtion, waste disposal, and homeostasis.
