From preface:This volume of the National Gallery is supplementary to the two already published in the Corpus series in 1953 and 1954. The Committee was concerned about what’s best to do. Since 1954, the National Gallery has acquired two pictures acceptably assigned to the Leaders of the Early Netherland’s School, one of these by Campin, the other one by Rogier van der Weyden.This volume also includes pictures that might have been included in the previous two, but were probably excluded.The volume includes explanations and descriptions and black and white pictures of the most important paintings from London National Gallery
