New Urban Design

The city is a patchwork of solids and voids. The lines of the streets, the holes of the squares and the landscaped areas draw a map of crossed and connected threads that form the urban fabric. This book presents a careful selection of recent designs for small open spaces such as parks, squares and promenades that make a powerful contribution to the communication between built masses.
