Born in New Britain, Connecticut, but having grown up in Atlanta, Georgia, best-selling author Marilyn Kaye had lots of ambitions as a child, including becoming a teacher, a librarian, even the President of the United States, but she always wanted to be a writer.
Having earned a masters degree in library science at Emory University and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Chicago, Marilyn taught childrens and teen literature at St. Johns University in New York for over 20 years. Marilyn currently lives in Paris, France.
