This volume provides a guide to the rich and vast amount of scholarly writings on the Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti (1797-1848). While the literature concentrates predominantly on the composer's stage works, this volume also includes works in other genres such as instrumental, symphonic, and vocal chamber music.
