White House spokesperson Camila Hidalgo wants her ex-husband, Trent Galloway, to investigate Justin Logos, a controversial cult leader. But Galloway, a former psychic spy trying to live a quiet life in the Southwest, thinks there's no reason to intrude on Logos's life. So he refuses to use his special talent - remote viewing, the ability to psychically see events occurring elsewhere. But when a lethal virus is released, Galloway pinpoints its source to followers of Logos, a man proclaimed by some as the reincarnation of Jesus Christ.
