Osteosynthesis in the Hand

The proceedings of the 2008 congress of the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH) are documented in this reference volume, with a particular emphasis on new developments in osteosynthesis. Editors Herren (Schulthess Klinik, Switzerland), Nagy (U. Orthopaedic Hospital Balgrist, Switzerland) and Campbell (The General Infirmary at Leeds, UK) have edited these presentations for fellow hand surgeons on such topics as fracture fixation in osteoporotic bone, fixed angle implants and bone morphogenic proteins. Plenty of photographs, illustrations and diagrams are included to make these new procedures and technologies clear to practitioners.
