The locals in the Italian village where he lives call him Signor Farfalla -Mr. Butterfly. He is a discreet gentleman who spends his time quietlypainting rare butterflies. He has few friends and is constantly on themove.But as inconspicuous as Farfalla tries to make himself, his real professionis deadly. He considers himself an artisan, not for the butterflies hepaints but for the guns he creates for assassins. He sees nothing wrongwith what he does and feels he has helped shape history.Farfalla is getting older and has resolved to make his next job his last.Then, perhaps, he can settle down comfortably in the Italian village he hasgrown to love and enjoy the remainder of his life without constantlylooking over his shoulder.
