Katja Franko is Professor of Criminology at the Department of Criminology and Sociology of Law. Born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, she studied law at the University of Ljubljana (1996), and obtained her PhD degree from the University of Oslo (2003), where she was appointed regular professor in 2009.
