Dr. Benson is a current instructor at UNC in the discipline of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. His outstanding achievements include authoring the book “Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Secrets” which has become an incredible resource for dental students and oral surgical students. Dr. Benson has also been practicing his skilled profession for 18 years in the Raleigh and Apex areas.
When treating his patients, Dr. Benson believes that treating them like his own family will help with their fears. He understands that the word “surgery” can be upsetting for some patients and he strives to help his patients overcome their fears with his calm and reassuring manner. His many years of experience have taught him that the best approach for patients is a calm one.
When Dr. Benson isn’t practicing in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and travelling. He also participates in golf, basketball and various other sports.
