Kirk Smock

Kirk Smock worked for 12 years as a writer, communications specialist and international adventure travel consultant on a variety of economic development projects in Guyana, Palestine, Mozambique and Macedonia. After traveling to and living in numerous countries for work, pleasure and life, Kirk, his wife and two sons recently moved back to Madison, Wisconsin after living in Mozambique for four years. The move coincided with a new career focus for Kirk, that of head baker and owner of a small bread bakery, ORIGIN Breads. Kirk is currently working hard to build a successful business that will – in one form or another – give rise to more wanderlust and writing.
