Stick is a Civil War veteran, down on his luck and searching for his long-lost sweetheart. Whittle is an orphan on the lam who feels like he owes the world a favor. When they meet up out west, they become partners in a rip-roaring adventure that includes a high-stakes kidnapping and a dramatic rescue mission.
