A History of Skateboard Art. Disposable sees longtime skateboard artist Sean Cliver showcasing thousands of skateboard graphics from the last 30 years. Cliver shares his perspective on the history of the art, and also on the evolution of the skateboarding industry. Alongside his own work, Sean has assembled a wealth of recollections and stories from prominent artists and skateboarders such as Wes Humpston, Jim Phillips, Lance Mountain, Ed Templeton and dozens more. Each colourful spread of an artist's work is accompanied by an explanation, in the artist's own words, of how they first came to skateboarding and to graphic design, and how the two eventually combined in their artistic life.
