Unless we change our attitudes to travel, there will be nowhere to go. Green travel has become a necessity. Greener fuels, carbon-offset programmes, alternative means of travel and new destinations: a growing number of operators, hotels and destinations now proclaim themselves to be green, but how valid are these claims, and against what standards are they being measured?
